NEWS FROM OUR COUNSELOR

As the busy holiday season and new year quickly approach, perhaps it is a good time to reflect on the importance of family time. When your child is grown and recounts his/her fondest childhood memories, they won't be about the expensive toys or high fashioned shoes. The memories will be about something your family did together. Consider giving your child gifts that cannot be bought at a store butthat will make all the difference in what your child carries into adulthood. May you have a joyous holiday season making many new family memories.

ART SHOW UPDATE

Art Show preparation is under way!  Again – Mark your calendars for March 20th and 21st- you do not want to miss it.

We are currently putting together our committee chairs and we are still looking to fill the following positions:

  • Food and Mood Chair – Work with a food committee to gather food donations from local restaurants for our show and coordinating the food service during the Art Show.  Our Friday night event is known for the wonderful food that is served.  This is a great job to do with a friend.  There are detailed instructions that are provided from the past years.
  • Check in / Check out Chair – Work with a committee to help artists check in their art work when they arrive for the show as well as checking out at the conclusion of the show.
  • Publicity – We have a great team in place again this year, but are looking for someone to help take over the role for next year.  By helping this year you will understand the ropes of the job for next year!  This job is mostly done from home and involves a lot of computer entry.

If you or someone you know would be a good fit for any of these job – please send an email to the committee chairs at chaddsfordartshow@gmail.com.  This show takes a lot of people to be successful and we really need your help!
